Airtight, stackable and extremely useful for storage needs. Great storage container in every way you'd want one to be, but for what is essentially an empty container, it ain't cheap. I use this at the barn for my horse's feed & it's great!

Sturdy but it came with a dent but that did not matter to me as long it worked
