Before trying to install these we removed the cameras dvr all items from the boxes hooked everything up and tested the cameras first to make sure everything worked and to make sure we were going to be happy with the picture

I ran my cords from my master bedroom which is upstairs down the stairs around the corner and back around to the front door to see if the picture from the camera would be good enough and it was plenty long

I was quoted 100 per camera from a security co and didnt want to spend that money so i ended up returning the cameras and bought the wire free wireless arlo cameras instead

You can can change the sensitivity of each camera and set them to record on motion detection

The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is for the video quality you can see alot and make out faces but you cant really read a liscensed plate or see good detail unless something is really close

I then disconnected cameras and ran wires through hole in closet ceiling to attic
