Cheaper alternative than the canon remote. Works with my canon rebel t7i. Works as supposed to with the canon 5d mark 4.
Will save me a lot of hassle from now on. Worth every cent. Couldn't have asked for more. No regrets. Will never regret it.
Super easy and super economical. It's small and light and connects easily. Comes with battery.
Select drive mode on your camera, set it on timer 2 or 10 sec. Then select the one with the remote icon. Put the drive mode in self-timer:10sec/remote. Then put a 2 second delay shutter.
On your camera press the af drive on top. My camera has a cool app where i can connect to my phone to take a picture.
Cons
This is not compatible with the canon eos rp. It’s inconvenient to hold my iphone while taking my own headshots. It only has partial functionality.

Same principle set camera to bulb mode set drive mode to 10 or 2 sec delay press remote button
