I tried using the metra 955817 dash kit that crutchfield sent with the radio but it was a terrible fit

Save yourself some grief if you are installing a double din in the older fords that have the 1 12 radio space and not the true double din

Not an exact fit for the pioneer nex 8200 double din stereo i put in our ford e150

It was a little stretched on the outside frame but it looks okay

Also did have to cut about 14 inches from the top and bottom on the inside of the dash opening not because of this kit but because the pioneer nex 8200 is too tall to fit in without cutting trimming it out

Mine differed from the image in that theres no cross piece in the middle of the faceplate
