Dont exactly know what its called but didnt expect it to be a part of the band but am grateful because the snap came loose twice but the band kept it from falling off my wrist

The cost is half of the actual leather one by fitbit itself

Quality is ok for the price but the secure metal clip does not secure your fit bit as well as the original

The reason i took off 1 star is because when you connect the band to the fitbit part of the leather on one side that is supposed to rest against the tracker pushes up and shows

Just fyi band is only leather looking not actually leather or even pleather

It is the same material as all standard fitbit bands
