Pros
Well built, seems sturdy. I really like this colm, and it doesn’t smell anything more than nice wood.
I'm new to beard combs and this comb not only exudes high quality and feels good in the hand. Works great with curly beards like mine. He now uses the beard oil because the comb helps spread the oil evenly through his beard.
Cons
Comb is very bulky for a pocket comb. It's not easy to use a floppy comb. So bulky, honestly it's pretty useless to me. Contemplating returning it.
This causes gaps between the pieces that snag your beard and pull/break hair. Useless on the mustache, slightly better on the beard.
It looks like that glue is softened or delaminated entirely. I doubt it is even sandalwood.

The replacement arrived the very next day
Once i notified striking viking of the situation they immediately mailed a replacement wo first even having the original sent back yet
Competitiveness
On the other hand the quantitive 3 pack of combs i bought dont even come close to the comfort as a viking comb
The comb just feels sturdy especially compared to alternatives made of cheaper materials
