Pros
When the metal pokes through i use gorilla tape to stabilize it. I've had this now for like a week & it's still amazing.
The velcro straps are secure and comfortable. The straps are durable and don't get soaked when placed in water. Not sweaty for prolonged wear.
Cons
The push is rigid only at the cmc joint. Ability to type or switch to the mousepad turns into a super slo-mo production. That's ablism nor compliant with ada.
The one i received was defective. This is a huge design flaw when it could've easily been solved. There are 3 ways to get a refund or a replacement.
The velcro doesn't last very long - the strap around the thumb eventually starts to tear at the stress point. A splint will only last as long as it's velcro and since this velcro wears out very quickly and can't be replaced, the splint isn't really wo... Read More

The positives though is it really braces the joint area and it tremendously helps with the pain
I am worried about the velcro holding up due to what others have said so if they give out i will update my review

Item seemed like very good quality with the exception of the thin velcro many people complained about and that seemed like would wear out quickly but unfortunately the shape of the hard plastic piece just did not fit the shape of my hand thumb enough to be able to wear it boo

Holds my thumb joint stable without immobilizing my entire hand not comfortable enough to wear all day but good enough for certain activities
