The pull down mount is shipped w a setting of 50lbs which is what most 60in tvs weigh these days so it required no adjustment out of the box
Finally the pull down bar is a cheap foam and should be longer to fit the larger tvs this mount was designed for
Overall this product works well and the motion is smooth
