Pros

The display is fantastic. Overall i feel this tablet is worth it. If you want a quality tablet that works well and looks good, this is it!

Every fire has a serial number. The generation for your device can be determined by contacting amazon. There is an easy 5 minute (tops) workaround that doesn't even require rooting. Google play and android apps now run fine on it.

Cons

First one lasted 2 yrs before it would not hold a charge and it could not be recharged. Second one died 2 months after the warranty expired. Buyer beware is all i can say!

This thing barely connects to my wifi. It's the slowest thing i've ever seen! It's super slow and i hate this pos.

Reviewer says he's very disappointed by this kindle. Is stuck in a loop only showing the amazon loading screen then it goes dark and then recycles. Much better to get an real ipad, or at least a tablet that runs actual android.

Frozen screen. And, if i need help with anything in this tablet, the help only shows limited items and there's no way to ask for help! What's the remedy?
