Pros

The mesh is extremely fine keeping all of my loose tea inside the infuser and not in my cup. It works better than some pre-packaged sachets. It is the top rated filter/infuser by the nyt staff.

The lid is perfect for steeping. You can re-pour immediately into your next cup if you like to reuse your tea for two servings. My only gripe is that the lid does not lock onto the body.

Searching for dimensions of the large brewing basket came across a 4 page pdf file on the finum website. The plastic tabs on the sides of the basket need to be longer. The photo is misleading, showing two baskets.

It irritates me no end that actual dimensions of this model is never stated in any description of either small. It is way too small, and is very disappointing.

But they only make them up to six-cup size, which isn't nearly big for serious tea drinkers. I believe it'll do a nice job with finer grain teas and/or coffee but very disappointed in the appearance and first impression.

Its just sad that it wasnt packaged better for shipping

Packaging/appearance

We used to use the spoonsballs that clamped shut but theyd inevitably let leaves fall out into the tea

They keep the tea in but are difficult to clean and inevitably sink into the mug

Competitiveness

Got the large infuser to go in my 20 oz cup

So much easier to clean than my bodum

I dont have a keurig but i do have quite a few kcups and was looking for a way to use them without the brewer
