Pros

I have it setup in my sump at 80 degrees. Works great in a 100 gallon salt water tank with fish and corals. Ordered this for a 40 gallon turtle tank.

The suction cups are great as well. This is not a big deal, as i have it plugged right next to a surge protector under my aquarium and mounted to one of the support beams for esthetic purposes.

Only potential downfall is the location of the temperature control gauge. Always check the tank temp via a standard thermometer. Best feature is that you dont have to stick your hands in the tank to adjust temp.

Cons

Tank is in the attic. Controller switch is either inaccurate, or has a built in on/off cycle time. Temp control is almost impossible with built in thermostat.

This aquarium heater was warrantied for 180 days. Finnex only has a 180 day warranty. This product * something more * than this * heater.
