Pros

I love the heater and it is working perfectly. The cord is short, but that is usual for bird bath heaters. Attached to a long outdoor extension cord, to reach my outlet.

Round heater works best for my birdbath. Hasn't failed in zero degree nights. Looks better, heats a little more ice, was a little cheaper. It keeps my wife off my back about the ground level birdbath not heating anymore.

Cons

While it still heats, it's not hot enough to keep up with our single digit temps. The heating element is too thick and sticks out of the water. The cord is impossibly short so you need a lengthy outdoor extension cord.

Will request a refund on this product. One still working. Worthless unit. Vendor say out of warranty.
