Except for these two quality controldesign issues the cones are great
Although i am still out watching them we feel much more confident with the cones to let drivers know to slow down
My husband has only had a problem with the door coming off once and he just put it back on
If you have an issue with the batteries falling out them put a piece of duck tape over the door

Only complaint is how easy the battery seems to come out from the bottom

Batteries are very difficult to replace though ended up prying off the battery compartment with pliers and ripping the tab off then duct taping them down

After just a couple of days of use plastic fibers around the seam of the cone started poking out

I doubt it would cut you but it shouldnt start falling apart so quickly

The cones are weighted by plastic bags filled with sand in the base

Another problem i have with this method is that since the cones are ideal for travel the bags would look very suspicious to a tsa agent inspecting the contents of your luggage
