Pros

Only complaint is from my wife when she saw the hole i drilled. This also makes them quite durable.

A simple drawstring bag is like magic to this kitchen cheesemaker. It easily fits a gallon of fresh yogurt - no problem at all. The drawstring makes this bag valuable, since you don't have to mess around with trying to tie off the cheesecloth.

Use this bag. It works really well and saves messing about with cheese-cloth and bits of string. The bag works but i paid the additional money for the cuisipro donvier yogurt cheese maker which works like a gem. I'm confident this nifty little bag wor...  Read More

Cons

These bags are advertised as being large. They are smaller than the advertised size. While the bottom is already cheese, the milk on top is still too liquid and cannot drain. The cloth is the wrong shape or consistency for farmer's cheese.

Packaging/appearance

I dont even know why they call that loose weave lacy stuff cheesecloth

Once the milk is processed i poured it all into the bag over a strainer and bowl

No folding over a colander and trying to keep the corners out of the liquid so they could be dry when tied above the faucet

Unfortunately the fabric to this bag is not finished and it does fray quite a bit

Im not sure why but after boiling and washing it it was fine

The edges of the fabric is unfinished left to unravel and on this bag about a 1 inch length of the seam was not sewed

I would pay an extra few dollars if i knew that 1

Its just a cheap piece of muslin with a rope sewn into a seam at the top

Its probably a bit overpriced for what you get considering it is just muslin and its made in china
