Update i just bought a 3rd unit
I agree with another commentor who recommended buying a seperate humidity guage

We have a tile floor which is not smooth so we do not roll the unit to refill it

The motor gets much hotter when it cycles on and off due to the much higher current it draws when it is starting from standstill and due to the fact that it does not have a steady flow of air to cool it as it does when the fan runs on longer cycles

The air where i live is very dry so mine pumps 6 gallons into the air everyday and rarely shuts off

That the wavy line on the filter goes toward the front of the unit

On low you cant hear it at all what you can hear blends into the background noise of the house
