You wouldnt want to type a word document on it with 12 pt font but it provides a picture perfectly good enough for presentations or standard def video

The idea is that you just plug the usb cable into your computer or laptop as needed but the settings will reset every time it is powered off so you will want to get a small cheap 120v to usb power plug for permanent installs

There is a big loss of quality for example i cant read the sub menus on my surveillance system on the big tv the one that running through this item
