Pros & Cons

Pros

Both the speck candyshell case and the elago p2 stand are aesthetically pleasing. It is stable, well built, and nice looking in a minimalist sort of way. The stand itself seems to be built very sturdy.

Holds phone in a stable manner that allows recharging. Avoids glare and is easy to use. Helpful for facetime.

The p2 stand tilts my ipad at a good angle.

"best priced and functional stand that i've found for my transformer" i like that the slot for the power cable is slightly smaller than the actual cable (not the lightening connector) so that it stays easily accessible when unplugged. Placing the ipad...  Read More

The stand has these small raised cushions on the lip where you rest the device on it. It is very convenient in that it holds the phone up off of laying flat on its back. I use it to hold ipad to show videos along with th bose sound link mini, and the ...  Read More

Cons

Lightweight aluminum, cheap adhesive feet and grove cushions. The stand itself is durable, but the outward appearance wasn't up to par.

Quality

Love the simplicity of design and product

It is tall and strong enough to hold it with the case on and not tip over

Sure for 60100 you can get a larger heavier ipad stand but for 30 you cant go wrong with the elago p2

See my other amazon review for the  elago m2  for further comparisons httpwww

Price

Anyway safe to say if you are looking for a good stand at a decent price look no further

It is rather expensive for a piece of aluminum but i know the price when i bought it

The p2 stand tilts my ipad at a good angle so it is a good compromise between function and cost

Packaging/appearance

I was sort of expecting it to be in a plastic bag or something and i was pleasantly surprised by the packaging

One additional positive is the products packaging

Competitiveness

Fully priced but still a good value

Two days later i was asked to order three more of the elago p2 stand

This is a very wellmade aluminum stand for the ipad

I was using the hard plastic cover from my otterbox defender case as a stand for my ipad on my desk and while it served the purpose that stand took up too much real estate on my desk and any time i took the ipad out of the stand the two supports collapsed back down

Problem so much as an observation and doesnt change the usefulness of the device either
