Pros & Cons
Pros
There is not much space between the 2 bunks, but there is are extender sections available for purchase. I'd definitely recommend purchasing them if you have to room and are planning on using them as bunks. Our kids fight over the top bunk all the time... Read More
Each metal tube locks into the plastic disc with a spring type locking pin. There is one small issue that i've see a couple of reviewers note; the locking pins. Just make sure you lock in those * on the pole connecting to the end.
I'm a 511 female about 180lbs and it's super comfy. The cloth material does not feels rough on the skin.
This thing is solid, and does not creak or wobble. The frame and hardware are sturdy. They are strong and durable with stacking options. The contraption and assembly are very sturdy and very cool.
These are pretty darn nice cots for camping, if you are looking for sturdy. Good news is that the xl cot you can fit two kids (if small enough) on one cot. We are both approx 200lb adults, and the cots provided a good nights sleep.
Cons
It's too heavy and bulky for backpacking and kayaking. Get a tri-folding lounge/lawn chair instead. They're much cheaper and lightweight. The zippers on the carrying bags are weak.
