Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Everything has a wing nut to assemble. The weather here gets very windy but the thing has held up admirably. Overall a quality antenna with durable construction.

The antenna has a great front to back ratio. The two ridges between me and the transmitting stations might combine with weather to alter the direction of the best signal.

Cons

This antenna because of its design lacks the ability to really pull in signals from a fringe distance. The pictures were of such poor quality that they were of no help as were the written instructions.

This is an excellent uhf antenna it was easy to assemble and it increased my viewing distance substantially

Light weight and easy to install on mast

With some effort the supplied boot completely slips over and firmly grips the plastic lip surrounding the connector on the antenna

Reflectors bend and twist at any touch signal drops on par with a 2 foot yagi reflector i had before barely 60mi now

Price

Great value for money ganged with another antenna and winegard lan200 pre amp picking up 79 channels 75 miles from dallas tx

It works great and the price was reasonable

It was expensive but so far well worth the money

We decided to dump our satellite service as it cost too much

Shipping

I may need a signal preamp and a booster to receive syracuse from otsego county in ny

A small booster inline allows me to receive a low power station only available inside city limits 50 miles away

Packaging/appearance

The instructions were fairly sparse but referral to the picture of the finished product on the box sufficed

Competitiveness

Today i replaced the vansky antenna at the same height with this yagi antenna again

For modern times this is among the best consumer uhf tv antennas available today

Compared to my old analog antenna this gets about 12 more channels

If you are attempting to receive stations from multiple directions you might live between different television markets you will...  Read More
