Pros

When contacts get within >1in switch completes circuit. Contrary to findings of another reviewer here, the two pieces do not need to touch each other to break the circuit.

Switch toggles at about 3/4 magnet distance, and the other direction at about 1 1/8. Used this to turn off the led lights in my truck bed when the tailgate is closed. Had to replace the magnetic switch in my rv.

Works flawlessly. Customer service responsiveness is outstanding. Yea, i know it's to soon to know how this is going to work out.

Bunch of youtube tutorials to help tailor to your needs. Easy to install. Good adhesive too.
