The latter is a problem since opening the frig door and having to press buttons to see min max readings increases the temperature which can increase the max temp reading not good if you want to see how warm your frig gets during its normal operating cycle

It is now monitoring my kenmore refrigerator in the garage that does not have a temp readout and was so happy with it that bought another one for my mini fridge downstairs too

Battery has lasted 9 12 months so far and the readout has never been shutoff

My only complain is the led display is hard to read in low light so looking through the glass door of the fridge it is hard to make out the numbers unless you have an external light source i use flashlight app on my phone but i this is mino and dont see how they could do it any different at this price point

The temperature range states it only goes to 4 f but it displays and holds temperature fluctuations down to 16 f in my freezer
