It's heavy, it looks and feels real, and it's fully functional. It is fun to manipulate and has a solid feel. A scary likeness of a real one. This isn't a criticism, just telling how 1:1 this is to the real m1861.

Cons

The cocking lever is a bit far forward. The internal mechanism is flaky. The barrel and nose look cheap and don’t have the paint on it.

I mount these on a plaque as a going away present for my business and the quality is pretty nice especially given how inexpensive they are

Really impressed with the look feel workmanship

Sometimes the cylinder does not 100 line up with the hammer but it doesnt go too far off to the point of annoyance

I am pleased with the quality and the price was reasonable

Shipping

I love that they oiled the entire gun before shipping but unless they expect the buyer to regularly oil it it is a waste of oil

Now this could have happened during shipping but i am unsure

Packaging/appearance

I was practicing quickdraws which my leather holster scratched off a long strip of the coating

Competitiveness

Its a lot better than i thought it would be considering the price and the replicated model of the original m1861

As responsible second amendment advocates know guns arent toys
