First of all as many must be wondering yes you can use both outputs at the same time that is you can charge your phonetablet while simultaneously powering the device connected to the adapter end

I assume that the 2a is split between them so if you are using a device drawing 500 ma there will be 1

This is bad news as the voltage could all too easily be adjusted far too far up or down quite possibly resulting in frying your device
