Pros
They work just as well for me and i like the mesh sleeve. They stay in place on my knee better and they area whole lot cheaper. They are equally effective.
Icy hot (sock) wraps do the trick! It works better than icey hot. Now i just hope they don't discontinue them as icy hot did and leave us all without.
Cons
These are not truly like the icy hot sleeves! I weigh 125 lbs & size large they were stillway too tight. The pads are almost useless for combating knee pains.

The medicated pad is on the outside but you need to invert the sleeve

The other issue is the mesh materials opposite to medicated pad

It provides for great flexibility but the holes can stretch a lot when you are trying to pull them up and the holes can tear if you pull too hard
