Pros
I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the lamp justifies it price.
Both left and right shades are adjustable as well as the entire fixture. Dimmer switch is a bit *-rigged and attaches to the back of the lamp with an adhesive tape. Provides good brightness with being obvious.
It matches and perfectly complements our black grand piano. My kids use it, my wife uses it and it just looks like it belongs. It provides excellent lighting.
Easy to assembly and install. The directions could be improved a bit in regard to plugging it in. It's sturdy and well put together. Very easy assemble.
The design is very elegant and beautiful. Trim, sleek, functional and unobtrusive. It compliments my piano and my space nicely.

If the price was more reasonable this would have made it an outstanding buy but we needed a good piano light and received one
The price is at the top of our budget however we only need one on our forever home
Currently not a problem but at this cost thought the engineering would be better

The assembly diagram that came in the box shows a dimmer as an integral part of the assembly and i thought it came with a dimmer since cocowebs description on amazon clearly said dimmable and did not indicate anywhere that you would need to buy a dimmer separately

In fact in the questions below the description where someone asked if it came with a dimmer four people said yes albeit 34 years ago and cocoweb did not bother to insert there that it no longer does

As i found out when i spoke with a very nice and helpful person at cocoweb it does not come with a dimmer and if you want one you have to order that directly from cocoweb for 30

Cocoweb needs to fix the listing as this is a serious omission at best and makes me lower my rating accordingly

Because it uses an array of led lights the tube holding it is small in diameter
