Not very soft but my guinea pigs have beds and soft areas so they arent sleeping on the bedding directly so thats ok

Works pretty well at odor control we have 2 guinea pigs sharing a cage and this bedding lets us go 34 days before it needs a change or starts to smell im sure one pig can make this bedding last a week

A little goes a long way and even though we change out the cage once a week it really isnt necessary using this bedding

I heard there’s some now with baking soda added which i hope not bec not good for rabbits
