Price is great and i totally would recommend and buy it again. It is slim in profile and looks neat and tidy. This gate meets and exceeds my expectations.

The latch mechanism has an optional stopper that limits the operation of the gate to 90. Our kitchen is an open doorway so we can work it both ways. No tripping hazard at all.

Its lightweight, easy to open, and can be operated with a single finger.

This gate is super sturdy, all metal. They really close with a satisfying thunk. I rarely write reviews, but i think these cardinal gates are much better than other baby gates on the market!

Cons

I need a gate at the top of these indoor stairs, and nobody to help. Now that her teeth scratched the finish amazon says i cant return it. Must have ordered wrong model.
