Pros & Cons

Pros

Carbquick is a low fat, high protein, amp; fiber, gmo free& free from peanuts & tree nuts. This mix is a perfect replacement for flour if you are on the keto lifestyle. The versatility with carbquick is worth it.

Carbquik lends a needed bit of crust or crunch to the top of my baked products. Makes two large pancakes. For drop biscuits, they recommend 1 cup mix with 1/3 cup water. Makes pancake, biscuit and baking mix recipes.

Cons

The flavor is part cheesy, buttery with a horrendous flavor (the carbalose. Texture of the flavor feels pungent and rancid. Am i the only one who thinks this is overly salty?

Had a texture of cornmeal. Is dry and grainy. Everything i made with it is extremely dry and crumbly.

Don't be fooled. It's much cheaper at walmart or kroger.

The pancakes are very heavy and very bland. Can be just ok if mixed 50/50 with a full carb mix. The biscuits are the consistency of a charcoal briquette. The pancake and drop biscuits taste like cardboard.
