I now wash all our flatware by hand and doing this ensures they last. The flatware is sturdy and has a nice weight, looks great, and the price is right.

First they are not dishwasher safe

In fact if you do put them into a dishwasher you will soon notice that the chrome on the end of the handles is only chrome dipping on a white plastic handle and the chrome is the first to wear off

Secondly if your dishwasher has the usual drying heat function the handles will soon warp shrink and then separate guaranteed

The ginkgo brand i have own several sets of those as well is a better quality flatware but again will not hold up in the dishwasher and the handles will separate when the plastic dries out by age and daily use about 3 years and the ginkgo sets are twice the price as the cambridge
