The default firestick just flat out sucks for streaming unless you mod it
Or you could just get a chromecast ultra and forego the unnecessary steps of having to hack anything to make it moderately useful

Tried the displayport connection on both ports and the computer recognized it but tried several different hdmi cables and two different monitors and it would not work

Returned and will try a replacement one and see if i got a bad one the first time

But when trying other dp to hdmi dongles even though the signal was 4k at 30hz movies would have a 500ms freeze every 10 seconds or so
