This bulb lasted all last winter plugged in for about 12 hrs every nightsometimes left plugged in for days when we forgot to unplug it and fired right up again when we first plugged it in this fall

I put this bulb into a porcelain lamp holder surrounded that in a medium gauge wire for strength then covered that with a pretty fine screen to keep straw wood chips and feathers out

After 2 months of use i noticed a black burnt spot in the coil and dont really trust it now

Honestly would rather get a normal heat bulb even if they burn out quicker instead of worrying about this thing catching on fire
