I haven’t asked my husband if it ruined the mystique for him to watch or if he ever thought i had mystique to begin with but that part about french culture never thinking of mothers as just mothers was fascinating to read

There are topics i agree with her on and other topics i agree with the french on and i think most readers would feel the same way

She labels these as the “us” and the “french” way of parenting however i think plenty of people from around the world including in the us and in france share similar perspectives as either side
