I haven’t asked my husband if it ruined the mystique for him to watch or if he ever thought i had mystique to begin with but that part about french culture never thinking of mothers as just mothers was fascinating to read

She labels these as the “us” and the “french” way of parenting however i think plenty of people from around the world including in the us and in france share similar perspectives as either side
