Pros

Headphone is light and comfortable for long session. Sound quality is as expected for a $300 pair of headphones. It seems to sound the best when paired with apple products or good quality amp. Design is luxurious.

It reeks of elegance & it's posh (w/o the spice). They're still a close 2nd. Great purchases. Stunningly, simply beautiful. Set a formal attire tone.

All the instrumentation is well-represented. The midrange on the p5s is more engaging to me. The natural sound is phenomenal.

They are very comfortable and provide excellent attenuation. From a different standpoint, they're light and comfy. Strong points includes clarity without the fatigue and sparking highs with extended lows.

P5 bass is head'n'shoulders above v-moda xs, while upper mids/lower treble is brighter and harsher in xs. Low end has a textured sub-bass rumble that can put a smile even on a basshead face. Sound is neutral without exaggeration in either bass or treb... Read More

Cons

The foam ear pads are sticky all over the inside and it started that way right after the warranty was over. I was also pumped to purchase these headphones but had a similar experience. Buy a pair of sennheiser headphones for $260 on amazon.

Everything i play sounds like it's playing in the background while i'm doing something else in the foreground. B&w as a company has changed for the worst, and/or they didn't much care into designing sound quality into these headphones.

The treble is tinny, shallow, and shrill. Mid-range is barely average. The tip comes off the input.

Everything sounds flat. Flat sounding. But still would not give more than $10 for such sound.

Sound quality is excellent with a very detailed and well balanced sound

I dont see what the hype is about regarding the beats headphones as the quality just doesnt compare to bowers wilkins

Discomfort with the position of the headphones creeps in when used longer

Beautiful soft leather and the sound is amazing worth the price

Packaging/appearance

Pull off the magnetically sealed earpads pull out the cablethe soundthe sound is very clean

Competitiveness

A real steal for these recertified models

Tough call against my momentums they both are unique in the ways and both are different

The only thing is that as a refurb item there was a bit of a smudge on the leather from the prior owner

I use it only with my ibasso dx90 player
