Pros & Cons
Pros
It's on the larger size and isn't super compact but it just works. It just works and seems pretty bulletproof. Not a deal breaker.
Boss amps are generally durable and last. Only lissue is remote wire fits loose and sometimes loses contact, so amp goes to full power. It is a cheap amp that works for what you are getting.
Not top of the line but thumps hard. Bass boost is a toggle switch from +0db or +18db. Quality bass with little if any distortion and plenty of thump.
I install this on my pontoon with a sony mex-m100 400w-receiver and ams-602w 60w-speakers. Works flawless and powers the 2 12s like a champ.
Cons
I have two amps and 4 speakers that are worthless. Only puts out around 230 rms at 2ohms. The amp shuts off when i'm try to get more volume. It was stated to have 1100 watts/ channel.
This amp is complete garbage. Will never buy a boss amp again.
