Pros
Light but crazy durable. The material is soft and not what i expected (still meets my total satisfaction) but it's durable enough for a 2 year old!
The ipad fits very snug so it can't slip out. It protects the tablet at the same time. I wish it had a screen protector but it does not.
Cons
Not the best design for a clumsy toddler. It barely stands up - it’s almost at 90 degrees so very unstable.

I would say if the kid smacks the screen with something hard this obviously doesnt have any protection for the screen itself so you would need some glass protector but otherwise all edges are good

Note when you first get this ipad case there is a hard black plastic form inside the case
