Pros & Cons

Pros

Each spacer weighs about 13 grams, and displaces about 3 cc's of water in a small measuring cup. Which is good, because an aluminum component should cost at most 1/2 of stainless, while titanium could easily cost 2x stainless.

The majority on amazon are a weak alloy material that several people have broken not worth saving 25 to lose your crank arm and get stuck somewhere without a pedal

The bikefit brand is good and strong but theyve had supply issues through the end of 2021 so i took a gamble on this brand here even with a full 8mm hollow if the material is indeed titanium it should hold up to some wattage

I see another reviewer did a metal density test in water that showed this was a titanium alloy and running the chinese text on the back through google translate i see the following which claims grade 5 titanium composite

In some documentation it says these are made from tc4 titanium

These are so light they’d have to be either titanium or aluminum and i’m not sure i can trust what’s listed

Previous ones i had were steel and rusted badly got stuck to the pedals

The only issue was that the pedal shaft thread bottomed out in the extender so i had to add two pedal washers between the pedal and the spacer

So a crude estimate of density would be 4
