The only precaution i would give is since the face can snap back i would not allow a really young child to use it

Im glad it made it through most of the school year but was very saddened that it didnt quite make it all the way

I never used the clamp it was pretty crappy needed to be much longer to be useful just ended up tilting and being useless

Just got it today halfway through the pencils i had to sharpen and it stopped working
