Pros & Cons
Pros
It's a bit pricey, but for a small job it's handy and it's has a high tensile strengh. Easy to use, very strong and flows well. Great for a novice like me.
This brazing material is nickel colored and looked nice on the beaters. Had to repair a wear through hole on a steel hydraulic line on a 44 year old loader. Hard to find this rod these days.
Cons
Amazon page says this has a working temp of 1250-1750, but the package says 1680-1700f and 915-926c. Nickel-silver is supposed to melt at temps significantly lower than brass. It’s impossible to melt, not enough temperature.

I was able to successfully braze sheet metal but when i tried to braze light gauge to heavier gauge steel the torch could not provide enough heat to thicker gauge steel

For the heavier stuff i had to resort to oxyacetylene
