Pros & Cons
Pros
Make sure to clean the area very well with emery cloth or something like that. Worked great with a handheld map torch. Used a hand held propane torch to do the job.
Had to recreate an edge on a corvette wiper door. Worked great for repairing a small hole in a liquid line of an automobile air conditioning system.
Cons
Low temperature aluminum that might contain some indium or some other low melting point metal. Most likely zinc, as in is $$$. Doesn't work with a propane torch.
Highlights
Quality
The rods work fine but you must be careful with the heat
Only difficulty i had was getting there material hot enough to work with the rods but once i did they worked great
I recommend using map gas but be sure you have a map torch using a propane torch with the map gas didnt heat the aluminum as well
I bought flux but i had prepared the surfaces well with a wire brush and they worked better without the flux
Packaging/appearance
As people have said heat the part and let it flow onto the part itself
