I have been using mine for about 5 years now and i have it set to only pick up ka and laser only this practically eliminates almost all false alarms as almost all my false alarms were coming from motion detectors mounted on buildings using k band

Drove from san diego ca to newtown pa on a road trip and worked flawlesslyonly recommendation is to disable the x and k band near major cities

No law enforcement agency highway patrol in the 21 st century uses that old technology radar unless they are going to chase you with a horse and buggy
