Pros
The material is a lush, almost faux-fur plush with a velvety feel. You can somewhat feel the substantial casement inside that's holding the heating coils. I like how long it is and the softness.

The large size easily accommodates coverage of the entire back or stomach. You could also be seated and cover both thighs.
The controller has a backlit display for easy monitoring and operation. The control * are clearly marked and easily identifiable. The cord is long.
It works great and really relieves the discomfort of spots being treated. I like that it has the care instructions and specs printed on a thick satin ribbon attached to the pad.

Ive had other heating pads where the cord is a little less obtrusive on the blanket material

While the manufacturer says the cord can be detached and its ok to place the blanket in the wash it makes me really nervous to do so
