Pros
Colour is perfect for a bedside light. Gives off a good amount of lighting. Good glow that is not cold or too bright. Brightness is very good.
It is very close to the same outline size and shape as a classic old fashioned 40 watt light bulb. An excellent replacement for the 60w lamp previously used. Happy with the bulb.
Excellent seller, very pleased. Can't fault. Does the job no fuss. Fantastic light. Very happy. Would buy again.
E27 6w led bulbs only use 6w so are very economical to run. Ideal for ikea fittings such as sidelights and reading lamps. Light is really comparable to a normal bulb and observably better than a non-led energy saving one.

Its great much brighter than i expected id say that it was more like a 100w than 40w
It looks like a 40w incandescent equivalent it would be great if the description actually said it which is what i needed
This gives off a very warm yellow and is probably around the same brightness as a 40w bulb

I went for the 6w variant which is meant to be equivalent to a 40w standard bulb i think it is if not marginally brighter than a 40w but only marginally

I have these bulbs fitted to a pendant light so the light is reflected straight down i could not comment on how the light would be spread if it wasnt enclosed in a pendant shade
