I went out for about 30min came back in and turned it inside out in the light to see if there had been any moisture coming through none

I would definitely buy this jacket again despite the high price
You can shop around for year end deals to save some money
If you can afford it then this is the one and only jacket youll ever need
Its expensive but you get what you pay for
Packaging/appearance
Yet minus a single 1434 tear in the backside the fabric and stitching looks like it just came out of the package
Competitiveness
It has goretex xcr which at that time was the best gore available
While other companies use proshell goretex not many put together a jacket with the right amount of features and fit

Other people who wear other brands or other types of jackets had wet or moist pockets and wet inner gear but i was completely dry

In the summer i can wear it during a rainstorm and in the winter it sheds enough wind to wear overtop my midlayer down to about 30 degrees
