I dont know why but the last two a strings i have used have some scalloping to them making this string not intonate correctly up the neck

They have brass grommets on one end that fit into the bridge just tie a knot around the tuning peg

They actually stayed tied wo zip ties some strings need zip ties because you cant knot a stiff cord end that is that short

However they will dent or crimp like guitar strings so you will be able to tell where a knot was taken out if you tie it really tight at first
