The ap717 works great and tastes great, too. No complaint about the quality of the filter. Very pleased by the service and the merchandise. Works great for filtering out particulates.
Installation is easy and water tastes good. Just be sure to flush out about 1 gallon of water after installation. Unscrew the two ends, wrap the male ends of the connectors with couple rounds of plumbers tape and install.
Always turn off the water to the supply line before replacing the refrigerator ice cube maker filter. Iced drinks taste like it's intended without chlorine or other tastes and/or smells that can occur with municipal tap water. Hooked up a side faucet ... Read More

Had a hard time fitting a rightangle brass fitting into the outlet of the filter

The line fittings should come with a 90degree fitting because in most cases this is installed under a kitchen sink with not enough room

Definitely decreases the flow and i’ve had mine a month and subjectively it seems even slower now
