These fit the aquaclear 50 hob filter. Be sure to rinse these out in a bucket of aquarium water or at least water that's been dechlorinated before installing. This system keeps my 30 gallon aquarium clean and my fish happy.

It does not seem to force the water through the layers of filtrationso i have no idea if it works
