There are two types of this same aoc g2460p monitor both use same same model number but one has a red stripe at the bottom where the button icons are and one doesnt i was slightly worried about this as the 2nd monitor i ordered had a stripe while the first did not i have both monitors running now and the red is quite deep and dark so it doesnt stand out at all

Tried it in titanfall for example which unless you can live with excessive screen tearing etc you have to have vsync enabled which has a performance impact

Not so when you have a 144hz monitor it runs brilliantly without vsync on and with no screen tearing etc whatsoever

Using one of these screens isnt quite as straightforward though if you use amd cards in crossfire like i do you have to put a second bridge onto the cards cost about £5 if you dont it will only run at 120hz without crashing the computer completely but this is true of all 144hz monitors

If like me you have 2 7870s you cant put a second bridge in as it doesnt have that option because 7870s will only run in dual configuration so i have to either turn one card off which defeats the object or run the monitor at 120hz which actually is fine anyway because its a 100 increase and my average fps is about 120fps so the balance is right
