Pros

"the build of this microscope and lens feel superb! The ability to attach a video camera/camera via the monocular port is an awesome feature.

This scope is a fantastic deal in my opinion. The trinocular head is fantastic. The scope has a course adjustment and then it has a fine adjustment for adjusting images. Reat bang for the buck.

There were two problems with the shipment. This isn't the microscope's fault, however. This is the kinda reality-tv i can totally get behind.

This is a great microscope, although you should expect things to get blurry at the highest zoom levels. I like to observe things at length without time constraints - that is part of my learning personality.

Cons

Wide field eyepieces have lots of dirt inside them. The fact that it even has an oil immersion lense is laughable. Technology companies are run by next quarter focused bean counters rather than engineers.

I have worked in labs and the quality of this matches the ones which cost significantly more

This scope was similar to the quality of the olympus and zeiss scopes i used in the lab

I was never able to do anything with the chemistry set and the microscope was a useless piece of junk

So far we are happy with the quality of the scope

Great scope for the money and works as well as my old olympus which cost 6k at the time

This microscope is ideal the objectives are excellent and the price is unreal

It was exactly the microscope and quality i was looking for and the price was on point too

The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys

I did have to glue the two darker colored side pieces back on as they both fell off during shipping

The condenser and lamp are easily adjusted and as bright as you can stand the body and construction are sturdy and of quailty material

Its a waste of money buying a higher res camera for this work

The price point was the same as the competitors scope so i expected something of similar quality
