Pros
Paper is not flimsy at all. Thickest pages i have seen so of course no smudging detected. Great tablet for many uses.
The docket diamond is actually the best pad made, but at $5 each, unaffordable. Trust me, this will worth every penny.
The paper is thicker than most other writing pads i have used. The pencil erases cleanly from the page, when necessary. The texture of the pages and the color of the lines to vary between batches.
Cons
Looks like they were acquired by tops. Now these are basically a sloppier version of docket gold for almost twice as much.
The scoring at the top of each page for tearing the pages from the pad is really bad and often missing completely, resulting in most of the pages tearing off at an angle - ruining them.

The first several pages riped off correctly at the perforated line
As apposed to approximately 8 for one pad of most calligraphy pads

Id find this ideal for individuals who write with a heavy hand a lot of pressure on the pen because the paper is very tough
