I purchased this unit and actiontec megaplug 85 mbps ethernet adapter twinpackthe action 85 does not work with mac pc or apple tv but this unit does so make sure you know

I dont have any 1080p mkv files due to my projector is only 1080i720p and therefore can not comment if the adapter can handle files bigger than 9 gig

For the same cost it has everything this one has in a much smaller form factor with higher throughput and the ability to resolve dualphase power communication issues which as far as i can tell is the only homeplug device with this phasecoupling capability

Other 200mbps devices will have similar speed claims and realworld speed which should be faster than most broadband download speeds and rotational hd nas devices
